Aspiring youth sought for ‘Night of the Stars’ auditions

COMMERCE CITY – If you’ve got talent, flaunt it at upcoming auditions for the “Night of the Stars Talent Show.”

Aspiring youth in grades K-12 are invited to participate in auditions, 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, at the Commerce City Recreation Center , 6060 E. Parkway Drive.


Individuals and groups (limit 4 people per group) are welcome. Categories for competition are:
- Vocal – singing or oral interpretation
- Dance – all styles welcome
- Variety – Any performance-based piece such as music (no rock bands), juggling, magic, ventriloquism, drama, etc.

Participants will be selected in the following age groups: grades K-4; grades 5-8; and grades 9-12. Youth selected during auditions will compete against contestants from the city of Denver on April 16. First-place winners at that show will then compete against winners from throughout the Denver metro area on May 1. Trophies will be awarded to winners at the regional level.

The local competition and regional event are open to the general public. General admission tickets are $5 at the door for ages 3 and older.
