Brighton Montessori Under New Leadership

The Board of Directors at Brighton Montessori School, Inc. is pleased to announce a renewed focus for the future with the hiring of two experienced, dedicated leaders. “We have always sought to bring in the best leadership for our school,” comments Board President Angela Edmundson, “and we are very excited to have our school under new leadership.”

Dr. Craig W. Henningfield is the new Executive Director of the school. Ms. Denise Swartz is the new Director of School Operations. Both began their duties on February 1, 2010. Together, along with the teaching staff, they will focus their efforts on providing the highest quality education and offering families the vital support they need to raise children who thrive in the emerging world.

“BMS has started a new chapter of serving the families in the Brighton area,” reflected Ms. Edmundson. “With more than 30 years of experience between them, Dr. Craig and Ms. Denise bring understanding and stability to our work with young children. We hope our community will take time to meet and welcome these two committed educators.”

Brighton Montessori School, located at 203 S. Third Avenue in Brighton, is hosting an Open House on March 26, 2010 from 9:00am to 2:00pm. The entire community is invited to come see and hear how BMS makes a difference in the lives of children and families.
