Denver Rally for Immigration Reform

Thousands of People Marching in Washington DC

COLORADO- On March 21, hundreds of youth, faith leaders, immigrants and allies will gather at Confluence Park in Denver to rally for immigration reform. They will insist that President Obama and Congress keep their promise to pass legislation this year. Leaders of the event acknowledge that moving on immigration reform will take courage, but they demand elected officials act boldly to make the economy work for all American families.


The March 21 Denver event coincides with a nation-wide mobilization in Washington DC. Tens of thousands will travel to Washington from as far away as California and Tennessee. Here in Colorado, over 50 marchers will travel to Washington by bus with scores more travelling by plane.

WHAT: Hundreds of Coloradans to gather to ask the President and Congress for comprehensive immigration reform this year

WHERE: Confluence Park, 2300 15th Street (15th and Little Raven)

WHO: Students, immigrants, allies, elected officials, faith leaders

WHY: To demand that President Obama and Congress keep their promise to enact comprehensive immigration reform and insist that they act boldly to make the economy work for all American families

Marcha en Denver por una Reforma Migratoria
Miles de Personas Marchan en Washington DC

COLORADO- El 21 de marzo, cientos de jovenes, líderes de fé, inmigrantes y aliados se reunirán en el Parque Confluence en Denver para conseguir una reforma migratoria. Ellos insistirán que el Presidente Obama y el Congreso cumplan su promesa de pasar una legislación este año. Los líderes del evento reconocen que para el progreso de la reforma migratoria se necesita valor, pero le exigen a los oficiales electos a que actuen con audacia para que la economía funcione para todas las familias Americanas.

El evento del 21 de marzo en Denver coincide con la mobilización a nivel estatal en Washington DC. Decenas de miles viajarán a Washington desde tan lejos como California y Tennessee. Aquí en Colorado, más de 50 personas viajarán a Washington por medio de autobús para marchar así como otros viajarán por avión.
