Landmark Academy Wins Three Coveted Awards

On February 17, Landmark Academy and sixty other NHA schools met in Grand Rapids, Michigan for their annual Eagle Award Dinner. It was during that dinner that principal, Catherine Witt, accepted three awards on behalf of her students, teachers and community.

The first award was for academic growth measured by the NWEA Measures of Academic Progress Test (MAP). This test is given to hundreds of thousands of students in the United States. Landmark scored above the 95%ile of the country for student growth. The second award was for parent engagement. Landmark serves an incredible group of families in the surrounding areas. Landmark families complete a survey each spring. That survey is compared to all of the other NHA schools and Landmark parents were found to be extremely pleased with their school; in fact, we were number one in the entire company made up of 61 schools. And finally, the third award was for staff engagement. The staff gets the opportunity to complete a survey to judge their own workplace. We are very proud of our teachers, para-professionals, secretaries and custodial staff.

Landmark Academy is honored and humbled by these newest awards. It demonstrates the hard work, dedication and determination by staff, students and parents. We could not be successful without the partnership between teachers and parents. We want to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful parents who help us each day.

Are you wondering how you can get involved at Landmark Academy? Please call Ms. JJ or MS. Shannon in the office at 303-287-2901 to find out how to enroll your child. If you’d like to stop by for a visit, we’d love that too.
