Lakewood, CO – On Monday, April 19, 2010, U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter’s Office is hosting a free job fair with a twist - combining the training aspect of a “boot camp” with the recruitment potential of a job fair.
Perlmutter stated, “This event will have something for everyone. You can learn how to use social networking and the internet to find a job, update your resume or learn how to apply for a federal job. Whether you or someone you know is job hunting full-time or employed and looking for a change, we want to help.”
The "Job Fair" portion will have area companies hiring now or in the near future or non-profit/governmental organizations that can provide guidance or services for job seekers. Attendees will be able to discover resources as well as introduce themselves to interested employers at their designated booths and further their networking and job searching.
