Commerce City Corral Fire

COMMERCE CITY ― South Adams County Fire Department along with the Commerce City Police Department responded to a report of a barn on fire in the 8400 block of Uinta. The fire was first reported at approximately 3:15 p.m. Upon arrival a corral containing several horses and chickens was found to be fully engulfed in flames. South Adams County Fire Department was able to control the fire and put it out.

This incident is currently under investigation, arson is suspected. At least eight (8) horses and several chickens were found dead inside of stalls within the corral.
