Washington, DC – Tonight, U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter (CO-07) will host a telephone town hall meeting with Senior Citizen constituents from Colorado ’s 7th Congressional District about Medicare and health care, the economy, taxes, and consumer protection. During the telephone townhall meeting, Perlmutter will give an overview of his work on issues important to senior citizens and what Congress will be doing over the next few months on these issues. The Congressman will then open up the call to listen to and take questions and comments from constituents. A telephone call to constituents will go out to approximately 50,000 senior citizens from around the 7th Congressional District in Adams, Arapahoe and Jefferson Counties , inviting them to participate in the call. A recording of the townhall will be posted on Perlmutter’s website (www.perlmutter.house.gov) later in the week following the call.
