Youth Commission helps community recycle

The city of Brighton Youth Commission has brought recycling to the city in a big way. They have replaced the eight-yard recycling bin with a 20 yard recycling bin, located at the City Hall Annex, 1901 E. Bridge. Due to the popularity of this free recycling service, it was necessary to get a larger bin to accommodate the community’s needs. Residents can drop-off recyclable items anytime including paper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum and glass.
The Youth Commission has obtained the services of Gator Rubbish to empty the bin as needed. Residents or businesses that are interested in supporting the cost of this service by making a donation or sponsoring the bin, should contact the Youth Resource Department at 303-655-2123.
