Commerce City Neighborhood Outreach June 10th, 6pm to 8:30pm

Here's your chance to meet your neighbors, meet neighbors down the street, up the street and even neighbors who live in other neighborhoods.

Commerce City's Neighborhood Outreach picnics, the first of 2010, being Thursday, June 10th starting at 6:00pm to 8:30pm at River Run Park 11515 Oswego Street, is also the city's way to say thank you to the residents. For more than a decade, Commerce City's City Council have sponsored these ever popular, don’t-want-to-miss Neighborhood Outreach picnics.

Each summer, the outreaches have been the center of attention, and center for information. Nearly 40 nonprofit agencies -- including City Council, city staff, health and welfare services, and other helpful agencies -- are on hand to answer questions and share information with Commerce City residents.

Oh, and then there is the FREE picnic complete with hotdogs, chips, watermelon and a cold soft drink to enjoy while you sit and listen to live entertainment.
