Brighton Economic Development Corporation announces Paula Mehle as senior vice president/assistant director of BEDC

Oct. 28, 2010---Brighton, CO---The Brighton Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) is pleased to announce Paula Mehle as senior vice president/assistant director of BEDC. In her new role Mehle will be responsible for the city of Brighton’s economic development program by soliciting, attracting and securing new expanded retail, commercial, office and industrial developments, and by supporting business expansion and retention efforts.

Mehle has a significant background in community planning and business development for numerous cities in California and Colorado. Her background is focused on organizing and developing special projects, managing prospects, developing and maintaining policies and procedures, and working closely with government agencies to insure a comprehensive expansion and development plans.

“Paula is very qualified to fill this role,” said BEDC president/CEO Raymond H. Gonzales. “Her background in community planning and business development will help to develop substantial growth for the Brighton Economic Development Corporation.”
