Alcohol Related Rollover Accident on Interstate 76

COMMERCE CITY ― Police officers are investigating if alcohol played a role in a roll-over accident on westbound I-76 early Tuesday afternoon. The driver of the 2001 Nissan Pathfinder was westbound on I-76 when she lost control and crossed over the eastbound lanes. The vehicle rolled at least twice before coming to rest on its wheels on the south side of I-76. The driver, a 31-year-old female from Brighton, was airlifted to Denver Health Medical Center with serious injuries. Her condition is unknown.
