The city of Brighton will accept applications for the following Board and Commission positions through Friday, Dec. 31:Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (two member openings): The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is looking for two members with special knowledge of and/or experience with farming and agricultural land preservation. The board meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at the Brighton Recreation Center.
Applications may be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office, 22 S. 4th Ave., Suite 305, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. (offices will be closed for the holidays on Dec. 23, 24 and 31). The application is also available at www.brightonco.gov and click on “I Want To” and then “Apply for Boards and Commissions.” Completed applications should be returned to the City Clerk’s Office by 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31.
