Commerce City police ‘tackle’ high school football players in fundraiser

COMMERCE CITY – City police officers take on the Adams City High School football team in Cops vs. Kids flag football fundraiser, Saturday, Dec. 4 in Commerce City.

WHAT: Cops vs. Kids flag football game
WHEN: Saturday, Dec. 4; gates open 11:30 a.m., kickoff at noon
WHERE: Adams City High School stadium, 7200 Quebec Parkway

Fundraiser game benefits the Commerce City Recreation Center Youth Scholarship Fund and Project Present. The scholarship fund is used for youth who cannot otherwise afford to participate in Recreation Center programs and activities. Project Present is a community program organized by Recreation Center staff that allows organizations and individuals to “adopt” children in need at local schools and shop for holiday gifts and essentials.
