Lakewood, CO— While thousands of Coloradans are losing their unemployment benefits this holiday season because Republicans in Congress continue to block an extension of the benefits, Congressman Ed Perlmutter (CO-07) is focused on trying to help Coloradans get back to work as soon as possible.On Monday, Dec. 6, Congressman Ed Perlmutter’s office will hold a career fair for people looking for jobs in the metro area. This career fair will feature a number of Colorado companies who are currently hiring for a wide range of positions. Additionally, there will be representatives from local workforce development centers and other resources available to help constituents in the 7th Congressional District and throughout the metro area find jobs.
