The Colorado Rapids 2011 Kickoff Luncheon will be held Wednesday, March 16 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Denver Marriott City Center, 1701 California Street, Denver 80202.Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber will serve as the keynote speaker for the event.
The Kickoff Luncheon is the first opportunity of the season for fans to meet the 2011 Rapids players and coaches.
Patron tables are available for $1,000 each, which allows for preferred seating for nine guests with a Rapids player or coach and event recognition. Corporate tables are available for $800 and include one table for ten guests and event signage. Individual spots are available for $80 per person.
Event activities include lunch with the team, a silent auction with team signed merchandise and photo opportunities with the Philip F. Anschutz Trophy. Proceeds from the event will benefit Kroenke Sports Charities.
The 2010 MLS Cup champion Rapids open their 16th MLS season in 2011 hosting the expansion Portland Timbers at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Saturday, March 19 at 7 p.m. MT. Season tickets are available by calling (303) 825-GOAL or online at ColoradoRapids.com.
