Adams #14 School Board Ends Discussion of Superintendent's Exit Strategy

At the June 28 meeting, the Board of Education approved a recommendation to end the process of pursuing an exit strategy for Superintendent Chandler. The specific language of the motion, as read by Mr. Klocker and approved by the Board, is as follows:

“The Board has completed its evaluation of the superintendent, pending finalizing by the school district’s attorney; therefore, I move that Dr. Chandler continue her position as superintendent, pursuant to her contract, and that the process of pursuing a mutual, agreeable, exit strategy is at end.”

This Board action means that there is no separation agreement for Dr. Chandler, and the District will continue implementation of the strategic plan under her leadership.
