Senator Mary Hodge to host a workshop for unemployed and under-employed citizens

Senator Mary Hodge (D-Brighton) is partnering with the Adams County Workforce and Business Center to host a “Job Seeker’s Training” on Saturday, March 10. The training will help people develop the skills they need to find employment in today’s competitive job market. Expert employment professionals will be on hand to teach people how to effectively write a resume, prepare for an interview, and ultimately obtain employment. The training will happen in two parts: group training and one-on-one mentoring.

Senator Mary Hodge offered the following comment:

“I will continue to help Coloradans get back to work in a tangible, immediate way. That means helping people write an effective resume, thoroughly network, and properly interview. We have resources out there for the unemployed, and I will work to connect the unemployed and under-employed with the vital resources they need.”

The event is free, nonpartisan, and open to everyone.
