Developing and Managing Volunteer Resources, Thursday, October 22, 2009, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
What: The one day FEMA course is intended to introduce the concepts of working with volunteers. The emphasis is developing an understanding of the skills and tools required in managing a diverse workforce which is volunteer in nature. Guest lecturers will be invited to participate to demonstrate the levels of volunteer coordination that may be necessary during disaster response and recovery.
