The District agreed to allow water from the DIA spill to be pumped into a nearby District sewer line for treatment through the District’s wastewater treatment plant.The DIA spill poses no immediate threat to the South Adams County Water & Sanitation District’s drinking water supply. The District’s nearest well is several miles to the west.
