Southbound traffic on Highway 85 to shift

Beginning Tuesday, March 22, southbound traffic on Highway 85 will be detoured to shift onto North Kuner Road at Denver Street, and will return to Highway 85 before the roundabout at Highway 7. Roundabout traffic will not be affected. Speed will be reduced to 45 mph throughout the detour.

This detour will be in place for approximately 75 days to accommodate storm drainage construction improvements as part of Phase 1 of the North Outfall Storm Sewer project, a coordinated effort between the city of Brighton’s Utilities Division and the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District.
