East District candidates include Brighton businessman James Vigesaa and Kathi Williams. South District candidates include current board member Jim Jaeger and former Brighton city councilman Ken Mitchell. Current board member Virginia “Ginny” Buczek faces Tom Janich in the West District. Mountain District board member Douglas R. Pryce is running unopposed.
All are seeking three-year terms. The election of directors takes place via a mail ballot in March, with the results announced at the cooperative’s annual meeting April 13.
The event is hosted by the United Power Consumer Resource Committee and United Power members are invited to attend. Reservations are required. Call 303-637-1248.
