The annual Adams County Fair Mutton Bustin’ competition is looking for special mutton busters! Boys and girls, seven years old and under (at the time of rodeo) and less than 60 pounds, are eligible to compete in this exciting event.
Each contestant will ride a sheep out of a bucking chute and into the rodeo arena. Like other rodeo events, time and score count, but all contestants will receive a t-shirt and trophy from the official sponsor, United Power.
The Mutton Bustin’ competition is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009 at 7 p.m. at the COORS Light Open Rodeo (limited to the first 16 entries only).
