The Commerce City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in solving the homicide that occurred at the Dollar Value Plus store, 5765 E 63rd Place, on Wednesday, June 03, 2009 between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm.
A white commercial van has been identified as being parked in the area of the Dollar Value Plus store just before the homicide. The van is possibly a Ford, and has a red diagonal stripe on the passenger side, on the rear quarter-panel of the vehicle. The van also has tinted windows on the passenger side, and has a roof rack.
The van is similar in style and color to those operated by Comcast Cable. Detectives are currently working with Comcast to determine if any drivers were in that area at the time and may have been a witness to this incident.
The person or persons occupying that vehicle may have information about this incident and are asked to contact the Commerce City Police Department at 303-227-8840.The victim has been identified as 39 year old Dung Le of Denver. Mr. Le was the owner and operator of the Dollar Value Plus store on E 63rd Place in Commerce City.
A $1500 reward is offered for information about the homicide that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons. The murder occurred on Wednesday, June 03, 2009 between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm at 5765 E 63rd Place.
