Philadelphia Liaison Office of Nanning Head Chamber of Commerce Unveiled

From June 20 to 29, a delegation from Nanning led by Hu Jianhua, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanning Committee and head of the Nanning United Front Work Department, visited the United States and Canada to promote the investment in biological medicines, robots and other new high-tech industries and to further strengthen the cooperation on economy and trade between the chambers of trade of Nanning and other cities in the US and Canada.

At the investment promotion conference in Vancouver, the delegation briefed to the local political and commercial personages on the economic and social development in Nanning in recent years, especially the investment projects on biological medicines and new & high technologies, and Ma Hai, director of Guangxi Head Chamber of Commerce in Canada, was commissioned to prepare for the establishment of Vancouver Liaison Office of Nanning Head Chamber of Commerce.

In San Francisco, U.S.A. the delegation met with Dr. DouglasHines, inventor of world’s first intelligence robot and ex-engineer of software in Bell’s Lab. The two sides held a discussion on the development of robots in Nanning and reached a preliminary agreement on the cooperation between Nanning Zhuangning Resources Operation Company and TrueCompanian on the development of intelligence robots. The delegation also held an investment promotion conference in Philadelphia and unveiled the Philadelphia Liaison Office of Nanning Head Chamber of Commerce. In New York, the delegation visited the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in America and discussed with Director Deng Long about the establishment of a Euro-American industrial park and the development of commercial real estate in Nanning.
