Todd Cordrey Resigns as Anythink Brighton Manager

District Will Conduct National Search to Fill Position

BRIGHTON, Colo.–Feb. 25, 2011–Todd Cordrey has submitted his resignation as manager of the Anythink Brighton library to pursue his Ph.D. His last day at the district is Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Anythink libraries will conduct a national search to fill this role.

“Todd's relationships with so many Brighton organizations have truly made Anythink Brighton an integral part of the community,” says Ronnie Storey-Ewoldt, public services director at Anythink libraries. “He’ll be brilliant in his educational endeavors, but his dedication and passion for the success of the library and the Brighton Cultural Center will be sorely missed.”

Anythink Huron Street guide Dara Schmidt will act as interim manager until the position is filled. Schmidt began her library career as a page nearly 20 years ago. With a few detours along the way, she reentered the library world in California working for the Downey City Library and Los Angeles County libraries. She earned her MLIS from San Jose State University and has been with Anythink for almost three years.
