Test your Brighton history knowledge with the Brighton Trivia Contest!

To gear up for Brighton’s 125th anniversary celebration on July 4, the City today kicked off its 125 Days ‘til the 125th Anniversary campaign. The campaign is a great opportunity for Brighton residents to test their history knowledge and win great prizes from local businesses.

Beginning Monday, March 5, the City will post a Brighton history trivia question to the City’s facebook page and website as well as through an e-mail distribution list. Residents are encouraged to log on and be the first one to answer the trivia question correctly. The first person to do so will be rewarded with a prize donated from a local Brighton business.

If the question is not answered correctly on the first day it is posted, additional clues will be given each day after until Friday, when the answer is revealed on facebook and the website.

Residents can play three ways:

Like our facebook page and log on each Monday morning to view the clue.
Log on to the City’s website each Monday morning (www.brightonco.gov) and click on “125th Anniversary Trivia Contest” to view the clue.
Sign up to receive the clue directly to your inbox each Monday morning by e-mailing Brighton125@brightonco.gov and typing “Add Me” in the subject line.

The campaign will run from the week of March 5 through the week of July 4. City employees and their immediate family as well as board and commission members and their immediate family are excluded from participating. Residents are only eligible to win one time. For questions concerning the campaign, please contact Public Information Manager Kristen Chernosky at 303-655-2061.
